ATTENTION!

A new Native Forest for Hertfordshire

I'm walking 166 miles for it...

The Woodland Trust has announced its intension to purchase land in Sandridge (near St Albans, Herts). If they succeed in raising the funds, they will plant 850 acres of native trees.

As the District and City Councillor for Sandridge, I have decided to undertake a walk to help raise funds for this great cause.

The Hertfordshire way is a circular route of 166 miles around Hertfordshire, - so I've decided to walk it! It is made up of 14 legs of 10 - 15 miles each. I would like to get lots of people involved walking different sections each, and all raising money for this project.
